FAQ:How do I capture footage from a USB device?

• Premiere Pro does not currently support capturing footage from USB devices.
• Use the software that came with your USB device to do the capturing, then import the captured files into Premier Pro. If no software was bundled then use your favorite Internet search engine to find a capture solution.

• You should be able to capture footage from your IEEE 1394 device directly to an IEEE 1394 or USB connected external hard drive, but some people have reported problems doing so.
